The Asbestos Awareness Course is suited to operatives, supervisors, or trades personnel within the construction industry.

Employers are required to ensure all employees are aware of where Asbestos and similar materials are likely to be found. This course aims to give delegates the confidence to manage risks associated with Asbestos, covering the types, uses, and likely occurrences, key aspects of Asbestos within a Health & Safety context, and procedures to follow when coming into contact with Asbestos.

Anyone likely to be predisposed to Asbestos at work must receive full training, and this course highlights all of the key information required when dealing with Asbestos to ensure delegates know how to avoid the risks.

By the end of the course you will know:

What asbestos is
How asbestos kills
Legislation on Asbestos
How to avoid the risk of exposure
